Duas of the Day
Begin and end your day with the remembrance of Allah.
Morning Dua
أَصْبَحْنَا وَأَصْبَحَ الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Asbahnā wa asbaha al-mulku lillāh, wal-hamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu wahdahu lā sharīka lah.
“We have entered the morning and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.”
Evening Dua
أَمْسَيْنَا وَأَمْسَى الْمُلْكُ لِلَّهِ، وَالْحَمْدُ لِلَّهِ، لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لَا شَرِيكَ لَهُ، لَهُ الْمُلْكُ وَلَهُ الْحَمْدُ وَهُوَ عَلَى كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ
Amsaynā wa amsā al-mulku lillāh, wal-hamdu lillāh, lā ilāha illallāhu wahdahu lā sharīka lah.
“We have entered the evening and the whole kingdom belongs to Allah. All praise is for Allah. There is no god but Allah alone, without partner. To Him belongs the kingdom and to Him belongs all praise, and He is over all things competent.”
Dua After Prayer
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ، اللَّهُمَّ أَنْتَ السَّلَامُ وَمِنْكَ السَّلَامُ، تَبَارَكْتَ يَا ذَا الْجَلَالِ وَالْإِكْرَامِ
Astaghfirullāh. Allāhumma anta as-salām, wa minka as-salām, tabārakta yā dhal-jalāli wal-ikrām.
“I seek Allah’s forgiveness. O Allah, You are Peace and from You comes peace. Blessed are You, O Possessor of Majesty and Honour.”
